I'm Not Dead, Just In A Dead Zone
Hey, faithful readers who I love so dearly -
Today is Monday. I'm writing this from a public library in Lanesboro, Minnesota. I left Maryland for Chicago at 3 o'clock Friday morning, made it by seven, stayed til Sunday morning, and by last night I had my tent pitched and was deep in conversation with a hilarious bartender in Lynxville, Wisconsin. Population 174. I'm not kidding.
It's been a wild weekend, but here's the deal: I have NO cell phone service. Like, none. Whatsoever. So if I'm unable to post or call or text you, etc., that's why. I'm hoping to be halfway across South Dakota by tonight, where service is ever worse, so it could be awhile. Just know that I'm still writing and taking pictures, even if I can't share them yet, and sooner or later I'm going to post A WHOLE SLEW of stuff at once, the amount of which you will find so daunting that you never even look at it! ;-)
Love Always,
Jessica the Slightly Smelly
PS - I saw a bald eagle flying off a bluff this morning!
